Limited Edition Skate Decks!

Check it! A unique new skate deck collaboration with the awesome folks over at Hi My Name Is Mark! This limited edition custom shaped Octopus board comes in 2 colorways, and each are signed and numbered by yours truly. They will be available from the official Hi My Name Is Mark web store starting Thursday May 26th at 10am PST. The blue/yellow variant is an edition of 77 and the purple/blue is an edition of 73. They make for sweet cruiser boards or a great piece for your wall.

The team over at HMNIM have been such fantastic collaborators in this project, and did a killer job getting the boards custom shaped and the graphics looking as crisp and vibrant as can be. I don’t think it was easy. Not only that, but they were able to arrange for skate pro Reese Salken (courtesy of Foundation Skateboards) and photographer extraordinaire Joe Hammeke (Thrasher) to take this unique board out on a test run and see what it can do. We got some amazing footage, and I have to say seeing my graphics on the deck of a total shredder like Salken really stoked me out – I fulfilled a fantasy of a much younger version of myself, somewhere he’s giving me a high-five. Anyway, loved every minute of this project and can’t wait to set my deck up and take it out for a session in my neighborhood, big thanks to the team at HMNIM!

Fun Fact / The King of the Deadbeets character is a wordplay based on Joe’s extreme distaste for beets. Yuck!
